Shreya Desai is a dedicated HS student that works in the HS department office, is the fundraising coordinator for Oaxaca and part of the steering committee for the annual trip. She has participated on the past three trips to Arrazola. Her primary motivation for participating on the annual trip is for cultural exchange, building lifelong relationships and learning about health in indigenous/rural communities. The annual trip provides a unique learning experience and has a real life impact for the people of Arrazola. These trips have paved the way for her future career in Community Health Promotion.
